Republican Jackie Walorski announced that at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, she will chair her first congressional subcommittee meeting.
Walorski, a member of the House Committee on Agriculture, will take the gavel and convene the first hearing of the Subcommittee on Nutrition. During the hearing, members will be provided with facts and figures from credible, published researchers on the characteristics and dynamics of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly referred to as SNAP.
