UPDATE: Accident On Country Club Road, CR 400S
Two persons were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:23 a.m. Friday, on South Country Club Road and East CR 400S, Warsaw.
Ross E. Armey, 17, South Country Club Road, Warsaw, driver of a 2000 Jeep complained of pain to his entire body. A passenger in his vehicle, Raina J. Armey, 15, South Country Club Road, Warsaw, also complained of pain to her entire body.
Both were transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne for medical care and wee not able to give police a statement regarding the accident.
According to the accident report, Logan J. Anderson, 18, South Maple Gove Lane, Warsaw, was driving a 1999 GMC east on CR 400S. He told police he did not stop at the stop sign, just slowed down to look and then accelerated through the intersection. Anderson stated he did not see the Armey vehicle traveling northbound.
Anderson was given a chemical alcohol, drug test.
Damage was estimated up to $25,000.
Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located on Country Club Road and CR 400S.
Two people were reportedly injured and are being transported to an area hospital. The accident involved two vehicles in a t-bone wreck at the intersection.
Warsaw Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department are on the scene. The intersection is closed until the scene is cleared.
