Whitko Middle Schoolers Interview Exchange Student
Students in Andrew Layman’s sixth grade social studies classes at Whitko Middle School got the chance to Skype with Whitko High School junior, Hannah Bredikhn, who is currently an exchange student living in Denmark.
As a culminating event of the sixth grades studies of Europe, Skype sessions were arranged between the students and Bredikhn.
Skyping is a computer program where both participants, often separated by a long distance, can talk live with each other, as well as see each other on the computer screen. After an introduction from Bredikhn, Layman’s students each introduced themselves in Danish and asked her questions about her experience in Denmark.
Students asked Bredikhn questions ranging from the weather, to the culture of Denmark, the food, and about her daily life. Bredikhn will be in Denmark until May.
