Larry K. Pringle
Larry K. Pringle, 75, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Fla.
He retired as the President of Mickelson Group, Inc. of Naperville, Ill., after 34 years in sales of sporting goods. He was enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1957. He attended three years at Minnesota State Mankato, and was an avid fisherman.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1939, in Mason City, Iowa, to Harold Mason Pringle and Edna Kathryn (Stephenson) Pringle-Moss. He was married to and later divorced Judith Adele (Urry) Pringle, who died April 30, 2011. He was remarried to Judith Dorothy (Thompson) Pringle, who preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 1993. Larry later went on to meet Carol Ollis and they were married on Sept. 11, 1995. She survives in Warsaw.
He will be lovingly remembered by his four sons: Tom (Diana) Pringle, Dansville, Mich.; Jimmy (Colleen) Henson, Fairland; Jamie (Pam) Pringle, Warsaw; Carl Loe, Slidell, La.; three daughters: Linda Pringle, Leesburg; Tammy Jones, Indianapolis; Janelle (John) Leitch, Larwill; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his brother: Steve (Kathy) Pringle, Nicollet, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first two wives; and a daughter.
Visitation will be held 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. His funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. #1126 both of Warsaw.
