LPC Doubles Up LCA
AUBURN – It was a hot shooting night for Lakewood Park Christian. Just what Lakeland Christian Academy didn’t need.
LPC had 11 boys score at least a basket in a 90-45 win over LCA in basketball at LPC.
Adam Owens led the charge for the Panthers with 16 points, 13 of which came in the first half. Keegan Fetters scored eight of his 14 points in the first quarter, where the Panthers took a 26-9 lead on the Cougars. LPC (4-12 overall) added 30 points in the second quarter to bring a 32-point lead into the break.
Connor Blum was the high scorer for the Cougars (0-17) with 23 points, hitting a trio of threes in the process. Josh McDaniel added 12 points for the boys from Winona Lake.
LCA will get back after it Saturday night when it travels to Fort Wayne Smith Academy for a 7:15 p.m. tip.
