Colts Player Arrested For Punching Delivery Driver
Indianapolis Colts linebacker D’Qwell Jackson has been accused of punching a pizza delivery man twice during an argument over a parking spot in Washington, D.C.
Jackson, the player who sparked the “Deflategate” controversy in the AFC championship game against the New England Patriots, lives in Washington, D.C., during the offseason. The incident reportedly took place at 8 p.m. Feb. 3.
Jackson was arrested an charged with assault for allegedly punching the man on the back of the head and left side of the face. The victim was treated at the scene but refused to go to the hospital.
Jackson was released from jail on personal recognizance pending a hearing Feb. 26 for the assault charge. He faces a maximum penalty of 180 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
