Gleason Tabbed As New Goshen College AD
GOSHEN – Goshen College has appointed Josh Gleason as its new Athletic Director.
The school announced earlier today that Gleason will take over the athletics program. He has served as the interim AD at Goshen College since June of 2014.
Gleason replaced Tim Demant, who resigned last May after six years. Demant took a position at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
Gleason served as the assistant athletic director for communications at GCfrom 2008-14. He graduated from Simpson University in California in 2003. He played baseball for three years at Simpson and then spent five years on the baseball coaching staff there.
Gleason will oversee GC’s 13 athletic programs that compete in the NAIA and the Crossroads League.
Gleason will be introduced on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 104 in the Roman Gingerich Recreation-Fitness Center on the GC campus. The campus and community are invited to attend the event.
