Robert Wolferman
Robert Wolferman, 83, of Milford, passed away Jan. 28, 2015.
He was born July 30, 1931, in Warsaw, to John and Ruth (Blough) Wolferman. On April 27, 1962, he married Joyce Martin; she survives.
Bob was a high school graduate and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Wolferman retired from Duplex in Goshen and went on to work in the maintenance department at Leisure Living after retirement. Bob was a member of Wawasee Community Bible Church, the Lions Club, and the American Legion. He loved spending time outdoors and with his family. Bob was a kind, caring, and loving husband and father and was a friend to many-a stranger to none.
Bob is survived by his wife; five children: Chris (Lani) Wolferman, Jill (Jon) Nyce, Jennifer (Troy) Erst, Betsy (Ron) Knafel, Kyla (Jason) Vice; 12 grandchildren: Owen and Evan Wolferman, Sophia and Joel Nyce, Brody and Carly Erst, Jackson and Molly Knafel, Aaron and Kara Schrock, Lily and Daniel Vice; one sister: Mary Jean Vanlaningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Morris and Richard Wolferman.
A funeral service in Mr. Wolferman’s honor will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E 1300N, Milford, with Pastor Josh Weiland officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Mishler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
