NorthWood Girls Game Offers Free Admission
NAPPANEE – The NorthWood girls basketball team hopes to have a big crowd Saturday night for its final home game of the season.
All Wa-Nee students will be admitted for free to the key Northern Lakes Conference contest versus Warsaw. The junior varsity game begins at 6 p.m.
NorthWood will honor its seniors Saturday night, including Indiana All-Star candidate and St. Louis University recruit Jordyn Frantz. The Upward basketball teams will also perform at halftime of the JV game, in between the JV and varsity games and at halftime of the varsity contest.
NorthWood is 15-5 overall and leads the NLC with a 5-0 mark in league play. Warsaw is 12-8 overall and 5-1 in the NLC. The Panthers still have one more NLC game left to play at Concord on Feb. 6, while Saturday night is the final league game of the season for the Tigers.
