Linda Olson
Linda Olson, 56, of North Webster, passed away on Jan. 24, 2015, at the IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born on April 9, 1958, in Warsaw, to Richard and Janice (Bowers) Taylor. On April 16, 1977, she married Clint Olson who survives. Linda was a lifelong area resident.
She started out in floral design working for the newly formed floral department of Ace Hardware in Warsaw. She was a longtime interior decorator, and owner of Olson’s Casual Furnishings. She had been the office manager at Eastlund Funeral Home over the last three years. She was an avid water skier, enjoyed walking and riding bikes around the lake. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend to many, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband: Clint Olson, North Webster; six children: Mandy Olson, Hawaii; Christa (Brady) Wiggins, Fort Wayne; Jonathan (Melinda) Olson, Fort Wayne; Jamie (Wayne) Fismer, Nashville, Tenn.; Lindsay Olson, Fort Wayne; and Ryan (Christie) Olson, Greenville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; two sisters: Cinda (Mike) Chase, Kentucky; Minda (Tom) Davenport, Florida; one brother: Dave (Jodi ) Taylor, Wakarusa; mother: Janice Taylor, Wakarusa.
She was preceded by her father. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the Town of North Webster, which will be designated to the beautification of the town.
