Jon and Genevieve (Coy) Bushong, 12079 N. Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 28, 2014. The couple were married Nov. 28, 1954, in Bethel Church of the Brethren, Milford, with Rev. Noble Neff performing the ceremony.

They are the parents of three daughters, Tanya Brown, Sunny Isles, Fla., Mrs. Charles (Jody) Waltermire, Elkhart, and Mrs. Tony (Annette) Weisser, Syracuse. They have six grandchildren, Heather, Andre’, Casey, Brittani, Cody and Breanna. They also have one great-grandchild, Preston.

Mr. Bushong was a barber and later retired from NIPSCO. Mrs. Bushong worked for many years as an engineering secretary at Chore-Time Brock, Milford.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner at Kaizen restaurant, Goshen. They celebrated with a decorated cake and a large picture collage filled with memories of the past 60 years.
