Kessie, West Lead Wildcats To Win
SOUTH WHITLEY – The 1-2 punch of Cole Kessie and River West helped Whitko deck Adams Central Tuesday night.
The pair combined for 44 points as the host Wildcats picked up a 72-68 win in non-conference boys basketball action.
Kessie tossed in seven treys en route to tallying 23 points for Whitko. West was right behind with 21 points for the winners.
Nate Walpole had 13 points and 11 assists for the Wildcats. Devon Adkins had seven points and Tanner Gaff six for the winners.
Whitko led 27-12 after the first quarter and 42-27 at halftime of the contest.
The Wildcats, who improve to 2-10, host league foe Northfield Friday night. Adams Central, now 3-7, plays at Bluffton Friday evening.
