Donald A. Loubert, 85, of Warsaw, passed away at 11:21 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, in his residence.
On Dec. 13, 1929, he was born in Saginaw, Mich., to James A. and Catherine (Schisser) Loubert. He was united in marriage to Julia Patricia Gardiner on Aug. 13, 1949, in Saginaw, Mich., who preceded him in death on April 16, 2006.
He worked as a manager of the chicken house for Creighton Brothers for 14 years.
He is survived by seven children: Donna Rae Loubert, Warsaw; Mary Louise West, Monticello, Ky.; Donald Loubert, Lansing, Mich.; Matthew Loubert, Warsaw; Lee J. Loubert, Lansing, Mich.; Lorie Shepherd, Fleming, Colo.; and James A. Loubert, Warsaw; two brothers; Michael Loubert, Midland, Mich.; and Jerry Loubert, Florida; and many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers; and two sisters.
There are no services or visitation planned. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Atwood at a later date.
