IN Conservation Officer Graduates From FBI Academy
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has announced that conservation officer Captain Jason Lee graduated from the 258th FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia.
“This is a unique opportunity for members of our leadership,” said DNR law enforcement director Danny L. East. “We are proud of Captain Lee’s accomplishments and we are excited to see him apply these leadership principles to benefit our agency and the citizens of our state.”
The FBI National Academy has graduated 47,898 student police officers from around the world since its inception in 1935. The most recent graduating class included 215 law enforcement officers representing 49 states, 26 international countries, 3 military organizations and 4 federal civilian organizations.
Internationally known for academic excellence, the program offers 11 weeks of advanced investigative, management and fitness training for those officers who have proven records within their respective agencies.
“This was the greatest and most humbling experience of my professional career,” said Captain Lee, who was joined at the graduation ceremony by his wife and two daughters. “I have a new perspective on leadership and what it means to our agency and the officers who I am trusted to lead.”
