Lake City Skiers To Host 2016 Division II Nationals
WARSAW – Current Division II and three-time national champion water ski team, the Lake City Skiers, will host the 2016 Division II National Water Ski Show Championships at Hidden Lake in Warsaw.
The team was awarded the bid by USA-Water Ski located in Polk City, Fla, to host the annual event.
“We are thrilled to showcase our tournament class ski site for the national tournament”, said LCS president Randy Patrick.
The Lake City Skiers have hosted the event numerous times. On average the event brings about 1,000 people into Warsaw for the two-day event with an estimated $200,000 boost to local businesses.
The Lake City Skiers Water Ski Show Team is a 501(c) nonprofit organization, funded solely through donations, traditional fundraising and sponsorships.
