Ruby J. Rapp
Ruby J. Rapp, 90, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Grace Village, Winona Lake.
She was born on April 17, 1924 in Warsaw, to Earl Snyder and Glade (Entsminger) Snyder. She married Harry E. Rapp, Jr. on Sept. 28, 1946, in Warsaw.
She was a lifetime Leesburg and Warsaw area resident. She worked at Warsaw Daycare for 10 years and at the Bowen Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended First Freewill Baptist church.
She is survived by her daughter: Janet (Carl) Ousley, Leesburg; son: David (Cathy) Rapp, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Michelle (Greg) Lehman, North Manchester; Aaron Ousley, Seattle, Washington; Christina Wilson, Warsaw; David E.(Lindsay) Rapp, Warsaw; five great-grandchildren: Jacob and Colton Lehman; Ezra Leal; and Presley and Canton Rapp.
She was preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter: Rhonda Ousley; three brothers: Dewey Snyder; Donald Snyder; Harold Snyder; twin sister: Ruth Julian.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Pastor Terry Bradford, First Freewill Baptist, of Claypool, will officiate. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
