Kosciusko Commissioners Approve 2015 Board Appointments
At a meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 16, the Kosciusko County Commissioners approved a number of board and department head appointments for 2015.
Those appointments are as follows:
[table “2” not found /]Additionally, Kosciusko Emergency Management Director Ed Rock appointed Ron Truex to the Emergency Management Advisory Council.
All of the above appointments were approved with a single motion.
Also at the meeting, the commissioners approved a declaratory resolution regarding the proposed TIF district near Mentone for North Central Co-Op. The County Attorney contract was also approved.
Rock reported that FEMA paid $56,326.05 to Kosciusko County for last year’s rough winter. Rock stated the funds were used to pay expenses already incurred.
Warsaw Wayne Township Fire Chief Mike Brubaker and several members of the Kosciusko County Firemen’s Association expressed their appreciation to the commissioners and county auditor for the funding and support they get. A lease agreement for two trucks that would be used by the Kosciusko County Highway Department was approved.
The next Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23.
