Michael Ward, Escapes from minimum security prison
Terre Haute – An inmate serving a 10 year sentence in federal prison escaped Dec. 14 from a minimum security facility. Michael Ward, 61, was first noticed to be missing during a count Sunday morning. US Marshals and local law enforcement were notified at 9:50 a.m. after guards searched the premises and still did not find him.
It is suspected that Ward escaped in a white Chevy Silverado with US government license plate J0011THA. He is described as being 5’10” tall, weighs 195 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair.
Ward was in prison for fraud by wire, radio or television. His official release date was set as Feb. 15, 2021.
