NWS Projecting A Foggy Evening
The National Weather Service has just issued a special weather statement for northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
Areas of heavy fog are expected in much of this area throughout the evening. The statement warns that visibility could be as low as a quarter mile in some areas.
Additionally, with temperatures hoovering right around the freezing point, some isolated slick spots are possible on roads and walkways. Drivers and pedestrians are both urged to use caution if traveling this evening.
Local counties affected by the statement are Kosciusko, Elkhart, Noble, Marshall, Whitley, Fulton, Wabash, St. Joseph and Allen Counties.
According to NWS’s forecast for Warsaw, light rain and fog is expected throughout the weekend. High temperatures are projected to be 39 degreesĀ for Saturday and 47 degrees on Sunday. High temperatures are expected to be in the 40s for the first half of the week.
