Warsaw Rotary Holds Toy Day
The Warsaw Rotary Club held its annual “Rotary Toy Day” at its meeting on Dec. 10.
The event supports The Salvation Army “Angel Tree” program as members brought unwrapped toys for children 12 and under.
The first “Rotary Toy Day” was held in 1927 when the club met at the Hotel Hays. This year, 2014, marks the 87th year this collection has been held.
The Warsaw Rotary Club has had a close relationship with The Salvation Army since it opened its work in Warsaw in 1921.
