Las Posadas Held At Notre Dame Grotto
This holiday season, the University of Notre Dame will be holding a traditional Latino Las Posadas, at 9 p.m. on Dec. 2, Dec. 3, and Dec. 4 at the Notre Dame Grotto.
Las Posadas, which means lodgings in Spanish, is a Christmastime tradition that originated in Spain and is now celebrated annually in Mexico, the southwestern United States and Latino communities in Central and South America.
Remember Mary and Joseph’s attempt at finding lodging before the birth of Jesus. Join in song, prayer, and reflection. Be a part of this long-standing Latino Catholic tradition.
