The Triton varsity girls’ basketball team raised funds for Marshall County’s “Ounce of Prevention” the week of Nov. 20 with their “Hoops for Hope” game against Plymouth.
The students sold pink t-shirts for the game and had a “pink-out” at the Trojan Trench the night of the game. A donation of $1,007.05 was made to Ounce of Prevention as a result of the effort of the two teams.
A special thanks to the staff of Oliver Ford in Plymouth for the uniforms they provided to both teams for the game. The members of the Triton varsity team are pictured in their special uniforms. The Plymouth team won the game 35-34.
