The sole item on the agenda was approved at the Syracuse Board of Zoning Appeals meeting Thursday.

Tom Votaw’s petition is for a variance to allow the construction of a residence 23 feet from the right of way and 23 feet from the water’s edge. The property is located on east side of Lake Drive and 76 feet south of Palm Drive at 910 S. Lake Drive.

There were no remonstrators.

The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Dec. 18, at Syracuse Town Hall.
