Health Insurance Marketplace Informational Event Taking Place In Warsaw
MDwise, in partnership with the Warsaw Public Library, will be hosting a community “Marketplace 101: Renew and Enroll” event to discuss how Hoosiers can enroll or renew enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Warsaw Public Library, 310 E. Main St.
In the 2013-14 Marketplace open enrollment period, Indiana enrolled approximately 110,000 Hoosiers into health care plans. This year, that number is expected to climb by 60 percent.
Representatives from MDwise will be on hand to discuss the MDwise Marketplace plans and Affordable Care Act. Some of the topics that will be addressed include:
· How to enroll for the first time?
· How to re-enroll or select a different level of coverage?
· What are the consequences of not enrolling in a health plan?
