Some roads in and around Kosciusko County are extra slick this morning thanks to the snow and cold. There have been several reports of vehicles sliding off the roads and even rolling over this morning.

Around 7:45 a.m. a vehicle rolled at CR 225 South near Packerton Road near Winona Lake. At 9:30 a.m. a vehicle reportedly rolled at Armstrong Road and CR 75 in Leesburg. Slide-offs elsewhere in the county have also been reported.

Additionally, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department reports that since 6 p.m. yesterday there have been 12 slide-offs, 24 personal damage accidents, 4 personal injury accidents and 3 other accidents of unknown severity.

Conditions appear to be worst in rural areas. Please use caution if you’re out on the roads this morning.
