UPDATE: Accident On Bronson And Market Streets
UPDATE: At 10:54 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, emergency personnel responded to an accident located on East Market and South Bronson streets.
According to an accident report filed by Warsaw Police Department, Patricia L. Caudill, 83, of SR 14, Silver Lake, was traveling eastbound on East Market Street when Pamela K. Chastain, 65, of Nancy Street, Warsaw, pulled out in front of her at the four-way stop sign intersection. Chastain stated that Caudill did not stop at the stop sign. Chastain’s driver side airbags were deployed in the crash. Caudill struck into the side of Chastain’s vehicle causing it to be pushed up into a sidewalk.
Caudill complained of neck and chest pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital (KCH). Chastain complained of neck, chest and right shoulder pain and she was transported to KCH A passenger in Chastain’s vehicle, David A. Chastain, 66, complained of abdominal pain and was also transported by medics to KCH.
Damages are estimated to total up to $25,000.
INITIAL REPORT: Emergency personnel are responding to an accident located on Bronson and Market streets in Warsaw.
According to Reporter Deb Patterson, two individuals have been injured as a result of the crash. The nature and severity of the injuries are unknown at this time.
Traffic is advised to avoid the area as Warsaw Fire Department has been called to the scene for dry down.
