Danú: A Christmas Gathering Félie Na Nollag will perform at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m Monday, Dec. 8 for one performance. The PAC is very excited to host this holiday gathering for the first time at this location. Danú has been to this area of Indiana in previous years but never to Warsaw.
Hailing from County Waterford, Kerry, Dublin and Donegal in Ireland, Danú is one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles of today. Their standing room only concerts throughout Ireland are true events featuring high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire.
Winner of major awards from the BBC and Irish Music Magazine, Danú returns to the United States this December with a gorgeous celebration of Christmas from their homeland.
“Danú stirs the blood and lifts the heart.” – Irish Music Magazine.
For over a decade, Danú’s virtuosi players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals (Irish and English), have performed around the globe and recorded seven critically acclaimed albums. Danú has toured throughout Europe and North America with stops at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Symphony Space in New York City.
Danú takes its audiences on a musical journey to their native Ireland while offering a moving and memorable concert experience.
Danú offers a wonderful way to celebrate the joy of the holiday season. This is a must see performance for the whole family. Please reserve your tickets today by calling the PAC box office at 547-371-5040 or go to www.warsawpac.org or brownpapertickets.com to search for Danú.
