Tickets On Sale Now For Upcoming Winona Lake Banquet

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Winona Lake Community Appreciation Banquet, which will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in Westminster Hall at 105 Ninth St., Winona Lake.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and early guests are invited to browse the Winona History Center and Museum in the Westminster.
The dinner, which is held each year, will include the awarding of the Bill Reneker Community Service Award, given each year to an outstanding citizen of Winona Lake. Named for the late Bill Reneker, who was a community leader and chairman of the town council, the award last year was given to Carol Forbes for her volunteer work.
The Water’s Edge Flute Ensemble, organized and directed by Dawn Engler, will provide music. Recognition will be given to residents who have significantly improved their properties in the past year.
Also on the program will be updates on the Splashpad and Limitless /Park project, new businesses in the Village at Winona, updates on water quality monitoring and improvement by Kosciusko Lakes and Streams, drawings for door prizes and much more.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12.50 for those 65 and older.
Tickets are available at the Town of Winona Lake offices on Park Avenue in the town park through Monday, Nov. 10. All are welcome to attend, whether Winona Lake residents or not.
