Meeting Gives Chore-Time Green Light
Milford Town Council held a special public hearing Monday evening and passed resolution 2014-8, giving Chore-Time Brock the tax phase-in it needs to begin the expansion of its Milford facility.
The expansion to the northeast corner of the building will, according to Chore-Time Operations Manager Jeff Miller, “revolutionize production and assembly.” He also expects the facility to hire up to 80 new workers.
Dan Brown, vice-president of Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation, said the phase-in will “enable Chore-Time to increase their market share,”
Miller thanked the council for holding the special session to expedite construction.
Town Council President Robert Cockburn added, “Hopefully it works out for all of us.”
