Grace Women’s Soccer Up To No. 17
WINONA LAKE – The Grace College women’s soccer team continued to gain momentum on the national scene, rising to No. 17 in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
The Lady Lancers’ ranking is the first top-20 spot in program history and the team’s fourth straight national ranking.
Grace defeated Huntington 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the Crossroads League Tournament, improving its record to 13-3-2. The Lady Lancers will host St. Francis at Miller Field at 3 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals of the CL Tournament. Grace has only reached the tournament championship one other time in program history (2012).
The Lady Lancers are in pursuit of their first NAIA National Championship appearance. The winner of the CL Tournament receives an automatic bid while the final bids are given on an at-large basis.
