Vote Nisly For Common Sense Representation
Dear Editor,
I kept hearing Curt Nisly being referred to by other candidates and their supporters as “extremist,” “fringe,” and “neo-confederate.” So I did some investigating on Nisly, here’s what I found.
Nisly is endorsed by the NRA. Kolbe is not.
Nisly is endorsed by Indiana Right to Life. Kolbe says he’s pro-life, but believes there are too many restrictions on abortion. Huh?
Nisly opposes Common Core. Kolbe says he opposes Common Core, but is endorsed by Indiana Superintendent Glenda Ritz, who supports Common Core.
Nisly is endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business. Kolbe says he’s pro-business, but is endorsed by Democrat Senator Joe Donnelly, who also said he was pro-business but then voted for the medical device tax, negatively impacting local orthopedic businesses and their hard-working employees.
Nisly is endorsed by many local civil servants such as former State Senator Kent Adams, Elkhart County Sheriff Brad Rogers, State Representative Tim Harman, and State Representative Dave Wolkins. Kolbe is not endorsed by any of our local civil servants. These local, experienced, and distinguished civil servants believe Nisly is the right man for the job.
Nisly is a 7 year local business man who graduated from high school a year early. He is pro-life and believes in local education, lower taxes, state sovereignty and understands the principles to run a great business. That’s far from “fringe” or “extreme,” it’s just common sense.
When I head to the ballot box to cast my vote on Nov. 4, it will be with great confidence that I vote for Nisly.
