Things To Ponder Before You Vote
Dear Editor,
As we wind down to the 2014 mid-term elections, we have many things to ponder before we vote. As we watch our country, our state and our communities constantly under attack from the liberal left, divisive agenda, we need to ask ourselves, do we want to continue down this path or do we want a new direction for our country?
I say, as many Americans do, that we need a new direction. We need to return to an America strongly rooted in our constitution and the foundation with which we were formed with deep faith in God.
We’ve watched the race for Indiana House District 22 and the many letters and comments made on both sides of the isle, but I ask you this. Do you want true constitutional, limited government, real pro-life and lower taxes representation or more liberal bias blame and accuse game? I still believe in our great country as I know many of you do as well.
As we’ve watched the campaigns these last months and weeks, we’ve seen a drastic difference. From Democrat David Kolbe’s camp, we’ve witnessed the standard tactics of the left: blaming others while hiding the liberal views of their candidate. But Kolbe is endorsed by other liberals who have helped get us into this mess and let’s not forget that.
Republican Curt Nisly, on the other hand, has spent a great deal of time going directly to the voters and has discussed the issues with them. Nisly is a conservative Republican who believes in our constitution, limited government, the right to life, lower taxes, gun owner’s rights and state sovereignty.
