Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
1:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, south of Goshen. Driver: Jamie Hershberger, 18, Syracuse. Injured: Kyle Hershberger, 15, Syracuse, passenger, complained of pain to the eyes. Kyle Hershberger was taken to IU Health Goshen. Deer hit.

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:25 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, South SR 15, south of South Paxton Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Walter S. Krygier 66, West Wildwood Trail, Warsaw. Deer hit. Damage up to $10,000.
2:22 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, SR 13 south of CR 350S, Pierceton, Driver: Krystal A. DeLong, 23, South CR 600E, Pierceton. Deer hit. Damage up to $10,000.
8:44 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, Fox Farm Road east of West CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Kirk D. Barden, 46, North Dovewood Trail, Warsaw. Deer hit. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, Lake City Highway and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Teresa Xique, 29, East Wooster Road, Pierceton, and Angela M. Bennett, 33, East CR 400S, Warsaw. Xique struck the back of the Bennett vehicle. Xique was cited for operating a vehicle with fictitious license plates. Bennett was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid license. Damage up to $2,500.
10:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Brittany L. Wadkins, South Merry Estates Drive, Silver Lake. Wadkins struck a parked vehicle registered to Brandon J. Coward, Sout West Point Drive, Warsaw. Coward was placing a child in a child restraint with the driver’s door partially opened when the accident occurred. Damage up to $10,000.
7:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, Lake City Highway east of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Larry J. Dunn, 67, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
5:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, North Detroit Street, north of East Canal Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Hubert J. Tackett, 75, Nottingham Place, Winona Lake, and Cynthia L. Potter, 53, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Potter complained of chest pain and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Tackett failed to see the Potter vehicle due to the glare of the sun. Damage up to $2,500.
9:24 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, North SR 15 mile marker 60, Warsaw. Drivers: Tami M. Zurzolo, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, and Claude L. Chrisman, 79, Ruthland Court, Winona Lake. Zurzolo was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Zurzolo was unable to stop for slowed traffic ahead, veered to the right to avoid a collission, went off the road, then back onto the roadway continuing home. She had struck the side of the Chrisman vehicle when she went off the road. Zurzolo told police she stopped at Levi Lee Road to see if there was any damage or if someone was coming to tell her she struck another vehicle, but thought she had hit a pole. Damage up to $10,000.
12:43 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, West CR 350N west of North Airport Road, Warsaw. Driver: John V. Wood, 28, West North Street, Milford. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
10:11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, West Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Florence L. McNeely, 63, East Main Street, Warsaw. McNeely was backing into a parking space and struck a parked vehicle registered to Virginia D. TInkey, East Pixie Parkway, Cromwell. Damage up to 5,000.
