Mini Golf Returns To Nappanee Library

Staff at the Nappanee Public Library will shut down operations and transform the stacks and stairs of the Library into an 18-hole miniature golf course on all three levels of the building, beginning Friday, Nov. 7.
NPL is once again working with corporate sponsors to offer the unique event to the community on Nov. 7-8 to raise funds for the Friends of the Library. Library Mini Golf, a New England organization that brings miniature golf tournaments to libraries and schools across the country, will provide the holes and greens, logistics and promotional support for the event.
Tee Time at the Library runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8. Admission is $5 per person and ages three and under are free. Golfers must enter at the Walnut Street entrance, as the Library will be closed for all other services. In addition to miniature golf, kids and adults can enjoy free face painting, balloon twisting and snacks at the 19th hole.
Adults 21 and over, are invited to Puttin’ on the Ritz from 6–9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.
A $30 advance ticket ($50 per couple) entitles guests to unlimited mini golf, a full drink, a gourmet slider bar and a chocolate fountain. A cash bar will also be available. To purchase tickets, stop at the Library or call (574) 773-7919, by Thursday, Nov. 6.
Cash, credit card and check will be accepted.

The Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 in order to host these events for paid participants. Normal business hours will resume from 1–5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9.
