IU Health Goshen Offers EMT Course

Indiana University Health Goshen will offer a basic Emergency Medical Technician course beginning Jan. 12, of next year and continuing through May 27.
This course covers basic anatomy and physiology, airway techniques, basic life support, pediatric care, trauma care and more.
The basic EMT course involves clinical hours in the hospital as well as fiend internship hours riding on local paramedic ambulances.
Classes are held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. The cost for the course is $700 and includes textbook and materials.
Space is limited and registration is required. A deposit of $200 will ensure placement and the remainder of the balance can be paid in installments throughout the course. A high school diploma or GED is required for the course.
Classes will be held on the second floor of the High Park Center on the hospitals campus located at 200 High Park Ave., Goshen.
