The Kosciusko Chamber held a ribbon cutting at North Lake Marketplace.
They are a marketplace where local vendors sell various merchandise ranging from tools to housewares.
Starting on a shoestring budget, Brett Zini and Jon Owens, often referred to as ‘The Pickers’, opened their first flea market in February of this year on Lake Street. After not even being open for a year, they quickly ran out of space.
“We needed a larger building in order to offer more space for vendors” said Owens.
“We like to help people make money, as well as offer items people need or want at an affordable price.” Zini added. “That’s what we enjoy doing.”
The North Lake Marketplace offers custom booth sizes to fit all budgets, and they do consignment as well.
“We will soon have the garage ready to open, which we plan to sell and consign furniture. There are a lot of furniture stores in Warsaw, but we are all about affordability,” says Owens.
There are about 15 vendors currently at the new location. Other items they carry include antiques, video games, CDs, records, home decor, repurposed items, tools, and so much more.
You can find them on facebook at North Lake Marketplace.
