LifeTouch Ministries Hosts Appetizer Wars Event

Professor Matt Metzger’s Event Planning Class is putting on a benefit for Lifetouch Ministries, through Grace College. LifeTouch Ministries is non-profit counseling center that is donor based.
Come enjoy an evening of cuisine for a good cause.
The Appetizer Wars will be held on the Grace College in Westminster Hall on 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28. Tickets are only $10 and are selling quickly.
Guests are asked to bring cash to vote for “Crowd Favorite.”
All the money goes to LifeTouch, and is tax-deductible.
This exclusive event will be an opportunity to taste food from local caterers and restaurants including: Cerulean, Crazy Day Gourmet, Curbside Food Stand, The Great Wall, Mad Anthony’s, Noa Noa, Redwood Firewood Grill & Bar, The Korner Grill and Viand Chef Services.
A winner will be selected as a “crowd favorite” and a separate winner will be selected from a judges’ panel.
Trophies, donated by Whetstone Woodenware, will be awarded to the winners.
Door prizes and Goody Bags will be given to guests.
There will also be live music, childcare, and an opportunity to learn more about the charity we are partnering with because this is not just an excuse to eat.

One hundred percent of the money raised goes toward LifeTouch Ministries & Counseling Center. The Grace College cohort chose LIfeTouch because one the students works there. LifeTouch is unique because they provide counseling to anyone who needs it regardless of their ability to pay.
