Free Family Festival In Syracuse
It is time for a free, family oriented Fall Festival put on by Brook Pointe Inn, Syracuse. It will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the inn, 4906 E 1200N, Syracuse. The location is better known as Bowser Road at Crazy Corners.
About 3,000 visitors attended in 2013.
Everything is free at the festival including the food. However, it is first come, first served because the food supply is limited and when it is gone, that is it. A meal ticket is required for participants to get the free food. They are available at the registration booth under the carport in front of the hotel.
Activities include face painting, balloon animals, scavenger hunt, hay rides, pig races, family portraits, coloring contests, vendor tables, games and much more. Once again, everything is free but it is asked that children are supervised and not left unattended.
Brook Pointe Inn sponsors the festival as a way to give back and show appreciation to those that have helped Brook Pointe succeed. It will be held rain or shine. Attendants will be on hand to help with parking.
Because the hotel runs continually, the event has been moved to Thursday to have more room for attendees and hotel guests both. The students of the Wawasee Community School Corp. have the day off for fall break.
Volunteers are always appreciated. Call (574) 457-4466.
