Warrior JV Pounds Memorial
SYRACUSE – Wawasee’s JV wasn’t messing around Saturday in a solid football win. The Warriors piled up 35 points and also pitched a shutout against visiting Elkhart Memorial.
Kolin Bell helped key Wawasee’s victory, rushing for a score and passing for another. Chandler Ritter had a touchdown catch and Noah Watkins led the ground attack for the Warriors with 85 yards rushing and a score.
The Warrior defense was stout, picking off three Charger passes and blocking a punt, which led to a Ryan Lockhart touchdown.
Wawasee (4-3-1) will finish up its season next Saturday at Foreman Field against Goshen.
