Warsaw Golfers Garner Awards
WARSAW – The Warsaw girls golf program held its end of the year awards gathering Thursday.
Senior standout Alexis Manwaring was named MVP for the season for coach Ray Davis’ squad. Manwaring was medalist 15 times this fall for the Tigers and also earned individual medalist honors at the Northern Lakes Conference Tournament.
Manwaring also garnered the Lowest Putting Average award for the team with her 16.2 average per nine hold. She was also a first-team All-NLC selection and an Academic All-State Honorable Mention honoree by the coaches association.
Sophomore Madison Graham earned the team MIP honors. Graham dropped her nine hole average by 7.3 strokes this season from last year.
Junior Morgen Fuentes was honored with the Coaches Award for the Tigers.
Earning varsity letters for the season were seniors Manwaring and Kristen Watson, juniors Fuentes and Aarshia Jain and sophomores Graham and Page Desenberg.
