Purdue University Elkhart County Extension Service and the Extension Homemakers are hosting their annual Holiday Program.
This year’s theme is “Fall and Winter Holiday Ideas.” The program includes recipes and easy craft ideas – aprons made nine different ways, a pumpkin face door greeter, a gratitude tree, pumpkin lanterns, glass bottle crafts, and a holiday spirit wall hanging just to name a few!
The program will be held 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct.25, in the Home & Family Arts Building on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, 17746 CR 24 Suite E, Goshen. Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Elkhart County Women’s Shelter.
Pre-register by calling the Purdue Elkhart County Extension office at (574) 533-0554 or send an email RSVP to [email protected]. The $5 admission fee, which will be collected at the door, helps cover the expense of the program and the recipes and ideas booklet.
Committee members planning this event are Jennifer Chupp, Donna Hibschman, Mariann Hollopeter, Cathy Van Huystee, Kristina Peterson, Linda Weybright and Extension Educator Mary Ann Lienhart Cross.
This program and all programs of the Cooperative Extension Service are open to the general public. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, contact the Extension office at the above mentioned number.
