October Kosciusko County Mobile Food Pantry Schedule
By MARIJO MARTINEC
Associate Director, Food Bank of Northern Indiana
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced the Kosciusko County Mobile Food Pantry schedule for October.
Fresh perishable items (dairy, grains, produce and protein) and dry goods are offered free of charge to northern Indiana residents. The Food Bank sets up tables at pre-scheduled locations where people can “shop” and select items that best meet their needs.
The mobile food pantries are first come, first served for those in need of food assistance, based on available product, while supplies last. Patrons must provide a valid photo ID (Indiana driver’s license or Indiana ID) and are asked to bring bags or boxes to transport their items home. If weather conditions are adverse, there is a possibility that the mobile food pantry could be cancelled.
