Stick To The Issues
Dear Editor,
In response to the absurd and outright lies of Brian Smith, communications director for Kolbe for State Rep, I would like to set a couple of things straight.
Curt Nisly did not ride during the Apple Festival Parade at any point as he stated, but rather walked the parade route after having run the festival’s early morning 5K race. Nor did Curt Nisly make any inappropriate comment about photo bombing the Kolbe group.
Considering Kolbe’s group was well in front of Curt Nisly’s once the parade began, I’m not even sure how he could make that ridiculously childish claim. I was in that parade in support of Curt and was the last one in our group. I can honestly tell you that Curt, as has been customary in all the parades he participated in over the summer, did not ride on a float. Curt didn’t even have a float, but rather a tractor pulling a mobile sign.
Obviously, Smith cannot get his facts straight which isn’t something unusual for Democrats. If facts aren’t conducive to the theme, then lie about them. Shame on you, Brian Smith. More lies and absurd accusations just like we see from Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
I for one don’t think we need that kind of absurdity in House District 22. If lying about such small things is easy now, what will happen in Indy? It’s really a shame that the Kolbe camp cannot stick to the issues, but instead chooses to sling mud. Next time, try honesty, Smith. It works better!
