SR 5 To Be Closed Between US 30 and US 33
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces beginning Monday, Sept. 29 SR 5 will be closed from US 30 to US 33.
INDOT maintenance crews will be replacing two drainage pipes between CR 75S and CR 100N, in addition to a third pipe just south of Cromwell between CR 300N and CR 1000.
Work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, Oct. 3. All work is weather permitting.
The official state detour is US 30 to SR 109 to US 33.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
