Triton Sports Wrap – Sept. 18
The Triton boys tennis team dropped a 4-1 final at Bremen Thursday.
The Lions won a pair of close singles matches to highlight the Northern State Conference win.
Mace Eads collected the lone point for the Trojans. Eads posted a 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 win at No. 3 singles.
Jared Fisher lost 7-6, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and Gavin Eads dropped a 7-6, 6-4 final at No. 2 singles for Triton.
The Trojans lost at both doubles spots as Austin Sellers and Alex Eib fell 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 and Ben Waggoner and Spencer Glingle lost 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2.
Triton drops to 6-6 overall and 1-4 in the NSC on the season.
Bremen won the junior varsity competition by a 5-2 final.
