Warsaw Rolls To Soccer Win
FORT WAYNE – Everyone got into the act for the Warsaw girls soccer team Monday night.
The Tigers used a total team effort in dominating host Fort Wayne Northrop.
Liz VanWormer led the way with three goals as the Tigers posted a 7-0 victory.
Warsaw, now 6-1 on the season, tallied six goals in the opening half.
Mariah Rivera had two goals for Warsaw, while Brooklyn Jackson had a goal and two assists. Alex Koontz had a goal and an assist and Julie Frazzetta and Clair Snodgrass each had one assist for the Tigers.
Keeper Gabby Herman got the shutout in goal for the Tigers.
The Warsaw junior varsity tied Northrop 1-1 as each team had an own goal. The JV Tigers are now 5-1-1.
Warsaw will host Columbia City Thursday night.
