Triton Sports Wrap – Sept. 11
The Triton boys tennis team finished what it started Thursday night.
The Trojans collected a 4-1 win over Rochester in a match that began on Aug. 21.
Triton got a three-set win from Jared Fisher at No. 1 singles in the victory. Fisher posted a 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 win.
Gavin Eads won in straight sets with a 6-2, 6-4 decision at No. 2 singles.
The Trojans took both doubles positions in straight sets. The No. 1 team of Spencer Glingle and Austin Sellers won 7-5, 6-2 and the No. 2 doubles duo of Ben Waggoner and Dalton Bailey prevailed 6-4, 6-3.
Triton improves its varsity mark to 6-3 on the season.
Triton won the junior varsity match by a 3-2 final.
