Lewis Bertsch will celebrate his 90th birthday Sept. 19. He was born in Bourbon and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1942. After serving in the Navy, he graduated from Indiana University.

Lewis married his wife Elaine in Watertown, S.D. They are the parents of Deb DiToro, York, Neb.; and Kent Bertsch, Granger. They have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He has been a member, teacher and elder of the Warsaw Church of Christ. He is also a member of the Warsaw Evening Lions Club.
