Giverny Fitness Studio is hosting a “Move Your Feet for Autism” event at 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.
Admission to the event is $8 in advance or $10 at the door, and all proceeds will be donated to the Lighthouse Autism Center in Warsaw. The event will include a variety of fun and dynamic fitness classes, such as zumba, hip hop hustle and club dance, as well as strengthening classes like boot camp, body sculpt, and “PiYo”. Certain classes will incorporate the TRX Suspension Training System. Participants may attend any or all portions of the event.
Lighthouse Autism Center provides intensive applied behavior analysis therapy (ABA) based on the principles of verbal behavior and behavior consulting services to children and their families affected by autism. At Lighthouse, they understand your child’s and family’s needs as Lighthouse was founded, and is operated, by parents of children with autism. They know that placing the needs of children and families first results in the best possible outcomes for the children they serve. Their intensive one-on-one therapy and limited caseloads for the Board Certified Behavior Analysts ensure that a child receives a therapy program designed specifically for him or her.
