Chris Harshman, 58, Saint Petersburg, Fla., and formerly of Akron, Ind., passed away on Aug. 16, 2014, at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital, Fla.

He served in the USAF from 1977 to 2014 as a master sergeant and was an aircraft mechanic. Harshman also served in the Gulf War and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He is survived by two sons: Ryan Harshman and Philippe Harshman; and a daughter: Teffany Koch.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at 7624 W. Rock Lake Shore Drive, Akron.
